Chobe includes a sterling reputation in conservation having piled up elephants herds from small variety of 1,000 up to 50,000 odd today. The park has excellent facilities for tourists with three different camps to choose from all of these are well-equipped with amenities including hot shower provisions. If you’d like something a bit more luxurious then special high-end camp facilities are provided inside the Linyanti Reserve. The Chobe Game Lodge is easily the most famous of the accommodations. The region between Linyanti and the Savuti Marsh is an excellent spot to spot elands as it is hot and dry. Birdwatchers will also be excited to see the Serondela area which attracts birds including ibis, spoonbills as well as other ducks and waterfowl. The Serondela Chobe Riverfront area can also be close to the Victoria Falls rendering it a very popular stop with a Botswana safari.
